Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day is our annual initiative that provides free backpacks, school supplies and additional resources to students and families in the District.  In 2017, we set a high priority on reinforcing the value of reading at home with a parent, sibling or guardian.  We have designed several events to further encourage parents to assume a greater role in their child's literacy development.  Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day will premiere our first Father/Son Healthy Meals Grilling competition.  Local families will be able to pick up backpacks, schools supplies, and a healthy meal along with a new Chuck4Short storybook with healthy food recipes and grilling safety instructions.
